Administration & Finance

Investment in both technology and training has allowed SRS to introduce a system whereby orders are instantly processed via e-mail in the five major regions. This system is accurate and results in efficient order processing. Systems and training are continually upgraded in order to ensure that we exceed industry requirements and expectations.

SRS Key Account Managers are involved on a day-to-day basis with various retailer head offices regarding stock control and general administration, e.g. MOR report maintenance at Game, Dispo maintenance at Massbuild and Makro and Endoxa system at Pick ‘n Pay.

All monthly turnover and commission statements are re-processed in the SRS Gauteng offices and our franchises and Alliances are supplied with detailed store-by-store analyses of financial sales generated. This is an invaluable sales management tool.

All sales and merchandising call cycles have been integrated into our ordering system which allows SRS management to easily monitor the performance of sales personnel throughout the organization on a customer-specific basis.

SRS has developed a unique software programme whereby individual sales representative performance can be measured by customers in store. This has enabled us to introduce a monthly incentive scheme whereby sales representatives are rewarded for excellent overall and individual customer performance.

Finance

Our stability is maintained through planning, investment and strategic partnerships. The continued growth of our financial success is envisioned through the growth of our Customers’ businesses, the identification of potential new Customers and Franchisees, and the continuous training and development of our staff.

SRS avails itself of the latest software packages. A comprehensive range of financial information can be produced for clients and management. Our historical financial performance has resulted in a financially sound and stable company.

Rates


Depending on the needs of our Customers and the types of products to be merchandised, a fixed monthly fee, or percentage of sales is charged. Sales, Merchandising and Trade Marketing

Providing that our Customers’ products are established within the chain store environment, a percentage of sales is charged. If products are not established and our assistance is required, a monthly retainer or percentage of sales, whichever is the greater, is charged for a minimum period of four months.

SRS SALES STAFF INCENTIVISED


SRS is the first dedicated non-food sales and merchandising business to incentivise its sales staff (from manager to sales representative) based on the performance of its individual customers and its customer base as a whole.

Previously this facility has been unavailable due to the complexities of compiling and allocating accurate figures to individual sales staff because of the large number of customers and stores for which each individual is responsible.

This stumbling block has now been overcome and a unique software programme designed to capture the relevant information is now operational. Sales Director, Steve Donaldson says: "This innovation will guarantee sales focus on all types and sizes of client and will motivate sales staff to perform at optimum levels."
