Black Economic Empowerment Trust
SRS has empowered its employees via two employee-owned initiatives.
Its employees effectively own 28% of the company’s shares. 25.1% is owned by a Black Economic Empowerment Trust (90% of the SRS staff were previously disadvantaged employees). 2.9% is owned by and benefits all other employees. Employees with three years or more service are entitled to benefit from their respective Trust and receive annual dividends in accordance with the Trusts’ shareholdings.
SRS believes that this initiative demonstrates its on-going commitment to its most important asset ITS PEOPLE and provides a platform for all employees to fully share in the future success of SRS.
