25 November 2008 - THE JOY OF WHEELS
In a move to assist SRS representatives to buy their own vehicles, Andrew Bradford, Merchandising and Operations Director (SRS) was a man on a mission. He mentored each rep in the pros and cons of car ownership and painstakingly guided prospective buyers through the mine field of car model to suit budget; signing legal documents; financing through banking institutions and last but not least, what it means to receive a company a car allowance.
“The process was lengthy but rewarding, says Andrew. “In each case, the rep had never owned a vehicle. “The look of achievement, pride and joy on the face of each rep as they picked up their own wheels, was worth every minute of my time,” he said.
21 November 2008 - LET’S HAVE FUN
The SRS annual Xmas luncheon held on 21 November, 2008 hosted by Doug Cresswell, Managing Director of SRS was hailed a great success by his team and clients from around the country/More – hot link to News
Jeanette Jardine of Amap and Adolph van der Westhuisen of Marltons were both presented with the SRS “Sales Supporter of the Year” award for their outstanding support and cooperation.
Gavin Brown and Ron Clark, of Reinforced Hosing received “The Partner of the Year” award for the highest percentage growth in earnings by SRS during the 2008 financial year compared to the previous year.
Doug, in his speech, focused on SRS as a “Value-Added Partner” and encouraged more clients to participate in the various SRS training programmes which, for the first time, are open to non SRS employees.
He was upbeat about the upcoming Christmas Season and advised SRS clients that the recently introduced SRS hand-held digital assistants (PDAs) will be extensively used over this period and beyond to ensure that in-store merchandising is maintained at the highest level.
