01 October 2008 - MERCHANDISING – The Core of our Business
SRS run various training courses every month at their offices in Edenvale, Johannesburg, designed to educate and train staff members in all aspects of the business.
One of the most important training sessions, MERCHANDISING, proved to be so successful that staff members felt that customers would benefit greatly by being invited to participate.
Doug Cresswell, MD of SRS, who facilitates the training courses, promptly approached Errol Guggenheim, Director of Connoisseur Electronics, one of SRS top customers, to offer Merchandising training. Mr Guggenheim readily accepted and agreed to arrange for his sales team to attend.
After attending the course, Dave Jackson, Connoissuer’s Sales Manager, and speaking on behalf of his team said: “It was most informative and I do feel it has given us more insight as to how SRS operates and the lengths to which your merchandisers are trained.”
“Your seminar has given us a different perspective on the correct way of merchandising, and hopefully will help all of us to strive for perfection on the shelves.”
01 October 2008 - New appointment
Alan Whittle, owner of Eastmore Agencies has been appointed to represent SRS in Nelspruit and surrounding areas, effective 1 October 2008.
