Managing Director - Doug Cresswell

Doug began his retail career as a Salesman with Etkinds Audio Visual stores and then joined Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarkets in 1982 and was appointed as a General Merchandise Buyer in 1988.
He currently devotes most of his time
to networking, people and business development, whilst retaining close links to the Core Values of the business.
Doug is the major shareholder in SRS.
Deputy Managing Director - Andrew Bradford

Andrew began his retail career with Philips SA in 1992. By 1997 he had been promoted into the position of a
Key Accounts Manager. He then joined Europoint Cellular, the country’s premier distributor of cellular phone
accessories at the time. He remained with that company until 2000, having achieved the position of National
Sales Manager.
His responsibility at SRS includes the overall control of the core elements of our business in all regions across the country . Effective 1 July 2010 Andrew was appointed Deputy Managing Director. As well as retaining his current client responsibilities, he will become more involved in the overall management of SRS. Andrew is a significant shareholder in the business.
Director and Regional Manager Gauteng - Michael Masokoane

Michael began his retail career as a field marketer in 1985. Two years later he joined Retail Marketing Services
and was appointed to the position of Sales Representative.
He was recognised as “Sales Representative of the Year” in 1994. He was then appointed to the position of floor manager with Exclusive Merchandising Services during the following year.
Michael took up a further management position in a joint venture with MassMart in 1998 where he remained for the next six years. He joined SRS in 2004 as a Senior Sales Representative and was promoted to the position of Regional Manager in 2006. He was recently appointed as a Director of the company.
Financial Director - Jan Johanson

Jan completed his B.Comm at Wits University in 1969. He started his career as an Accounts Clerk with the Johannesburg City Council and subsequently progressed his career through Reid Bros (SA) Ltd., Bowthorpe Hellermann Deutsch and Lucas Automotive. Jan held several positions within Lucas Automotive and in 1988 was promoted to Managing Director. After he left Lucas he went onto gain experience as a Sales Executive with Prowalco (Pty) Ltd., and Cummins Diesel.
In 2006 Jan joined SRS as Financial Manager to bring the financial function from external bureau to in-house. In early 2008 Jan accepted a board appointment and has subsequently been appointed Financial Director.
Director - Astrid Anderson

Astrid began her sales career in 1990 with Nestle in the Milk and Dietetics Division. Management recognised her outstanding communication skills and in 1997 was appointed as Nestle's Public Relations Officer.
In 2002 she decided to return to sales and joined Fountain Medical, a major distributor of infant feeding products under the Avent brand, as a Representative and in 2004 was promoted to National Sales Manager. In 2006 Astrid completed the SAIM Business Management programme, winning a bursary as Top Student. Subsequently, she completed the SAIM Marketing Management Programme with Distinction.
Astrid joined SRS in 2007 as Trade Marketing Manager. In 2008, as her responsibilities increased, this role changed to National Sales Manager. In April 2009 she was appointed to the Board of SRS as Sales Director. Her role now focuses on training and customer relations.
Sales Director - Steve Donaldson

Steve started his sales career with Unilever as a merchandiser in 1977 and in 1982 joined Nestle as Senior Sales Rep.
In 1987 Steve opened his own agency business in the non-food sector and established strong links with retail stores at senior executive level as well as store level.
The synergistic nature of the two businesses opened negotiation and by mutual agreement, Steve’s agency has merged with SRS. In April 2010 he was appointed to the SRS board as Sales Director and is responsible for new business, retail head office key accounts management and client relationship development..
