It is our company’s ongoing policy to invest substantially in the training and development of our staff. We maintain a constant strategy of recruiting at elementary level, in-house training, and outsourcing of professional training support when necessary. By providing career paths within SRS, we have a negligible staff turnover with accountability at all levels, thus ensuring that our Customers enjoy an uninterrupted and professional service level. There are regular staff meetings, constant assessments and supervision to achieve this aim. Annual awards acknowledge our “Employee of the Year” and other top performers.

The company has empowered its employees by guaranteeing real benefit and value from our employment relationship.  Over 28 percent of the company shares and ownership have been placed in two employee Trusts, one of which is a fully compliant Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) Trust.

We encourage and facilitate product training sessions by our Customers for all levels of our sales and
merchandising staff. Our staff wear uniforms and are presentable at all times. We also encourage our Customers to participate in competitions, to further motivate our staff. Our sales and merchandising staff are constantly in touch with SRS management and administration staff via mobile phones, ensuring that opportunities and challenges in the field are dealt with immediately.
